Are you looking for a fun way to spend time with your friends but your significant other says you need more exercise? Look no further than the golf course!

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced golfer, there are plenty of golf games that you and your friends can play.

Not only is it a great way to bond but it will also help keep everyone healthy.

Maybe you are on a bachelor party or on a golf trip though the Rocky Mountains maybe you just got the guys together for a weekend of golfing in Saskatchewan.

We’ve got a list of the best golf games to play for those who may not have the same level of skill, so now you and your friends can go out and enjoy some friendly competition on the green!

6 6 6

This game is best played with a party of four people. Every six holes, players are rotated. Everyone has had a chance to couple up by the time you get to 18 holes.

Your games are scored in sixes, and each new set of sixes is a new game. This is a fantastic game because when all of the scores are tallied together, everyone has a chance to win.

You may lose your first game, but you have a good chance of winning or doing well in the subsequent rounds.

Wolf

To play Wolf, it’s preferable to have 4 people. There are no teams, and everyone competes against oneself. The goal is straightforward: score the most points by the conclusion of the round.

The ‘Wolf’ player is the last to tee off.

This order of play will be rotated on each hole until everyone has had an opportunity to be the wolf after four holes.

When all of the players have teed off, the Wolf will determine whether or not to take on any of the players for their own squad. If they don’t, they become a Lone Wolf, and their aim is to beat the other players by finishing with the lowest score.

Stringball

Stringball is a great game to play with your family’s losers. Instead of a handicap, each player is given a foot of string for each handicap shot.

You move the ball by gauging the distance of each shot and cutting the appropriate quantity of string.

That offers everyone a greater opportunity and allows for more imaginative play. It can also keep you from receiving a penalty if your ball goes out of bounds. You only need to bring some string and scissors!

The Rabbit

This is another fun and imaginative game for the whole family to play.

The Rabbit will be captured by the first player who has the lowest score on a hole. When it reaches the next hole and another player has the lowest score, the Rabbit will be released. The Rabbit will be caught by the player with the lowest score after that, and so on.

Whoever possesses the Rabbit at the conclusion of the game will win. If there are any ties, no one will receive the Rabbit, and you will have to play until one winner is determined.

It’s a competitive yet enjoyable game that’s likely to please the whole family.

Ghost

Ghost is an entertaining game for people of all ages. This game needs 3 players and one fictitious player who is the ‘ghost’. One person must play in a team with the ghost, who pars every hole, for each hole.

The ghost will play with a handicap of one.

When the player with the biggest handicap plays with the ghost, the game functions effectively. Switch the teams around and let everyone play with the ghost to keep things interesting.

It’s enjoyable, and it improves everyone’s golf skills.

Flaps

Flaps is a fun game that everyone can play, and youngsters will enjoy it since they may yell while they play! While teeing off from the green, the golfer can yell “FLAP” before the ball falls.

To win, they must first get it in the hole on their next stroke. They will lose the hole if they do not make the shot.

Another exciting aspect is that when one of them shouts FLAP, the other can say “DOUBLE” before the ball falls, doubling the victory or loss.

Bingo, Bango, and Bongo

Bingo Bango Bongo is the ideal game for families with an odd or even number of members. It’s quite simple to play and suitable for all ages.

Players receive three points for each hole that receives a bingo, bango, or bongo. Let’s go through what these are.

The first person to get their ball onto the green receives a Bingo. The player who is furthest away from the green will take the first shot, followed by the next, and so on.

When everyone has placed their ball on the green, a Bango is awarded to the player whose ball is closest to the pin. The player who puts their ball into the hole first receives a Bongo.
